Four Seasons Beverly Hills Wedding : Gabby+Adam

He made it to the New York state debate championship in high school. He lessened his punishment for simultaneously damaging his parents' cars by saying at least he didn't burn down the house. He worked the system in high school to improve his grades (though he admits the process was slightly scandalous). Adam was used to getting his way. The offspring of successful lawyer and a respected judge, he was well equipped to using his words to get his way. Always.

Until he met Gabby.

On the opposite side of the country, Gabby was raised by a dynamic trial lawyer and a brilliant business manager in Beverly Hills. Educated at Berkeley University and USC, she procured a job working as the communication director for the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, so she was acutely aware of smooth talkers. Adam was just another guy in Washington DC who said all the right words.

He was kind, persistent, and funny. She didn't move. He was inviting, warm, and personal. She didn't move. Then he stopped. All communication. It was his silence that moved Gabby the most. She missed Adam and soon realized she needed him in her life. Forever.

Gabby and Adam, you know I really really really like you. We somehow just meshed and fell into a comfortable rhythm throughout wedding planning. I'm honored to have documented your wedding and I'm honored to call you friends…and, yes, we will take you up on a dinner in DC…as long as Adam will give me dance lessons and teach me his smooth moves! Much Love and Appreciation…j*

The wedding day started at The Four Seasons Beverly Hills, perfectly accented with Gabby's pink Christian Louboutin shoes and a beautiful Ines Di Santo wedding dress…

JD hung out with the guys and, apparently, watching a soccer game on your wedding day is a great way to start the excitement…

Gabby and Adam opted for a First Look and met before the ceremony, allowing plenty of time for wedding photos around The Four Seasons Beverly Hills and a relaxing day…

Adam told me he was going to bring his fiercest and most fabulous modeling skills to wedding day, and he didn't disappoint! 😉

I was incredibly excited when Gabby told me she received access to The Four Seasons Beverly Hills rooftop and helipad. It was a stunning day in Beverly Hills with clear views of Downtown. JD captured the following photo…

Gabby, you're gorgeous. No, really. You are.

Many, many thanks to the ever amazing Amy and Trisha of The Hidden Garden for creating the most beautiful floral designs…

Gabby and Adam surprised their wedding guests with confetti rockets during their first kiss, which made The Four Seasons Beverly Hills look like a candy wonderland…

I must take a huuuuuge step back and express my sincerest appreciation for the amazingness that is Jodi and Marla of JOWY Productions for coordinating an absolutely flawless day. Even when things didn't go as planned, they were by my side informing me and adapting…loved it! Having planners on a wedding day is worth its weight in gold.

Gabby has attention to detail, so I knew nothing would be overlooked…she said she wanted a black tie garden party in a ballroom and I think her ideas came to fruition beautifully…

The First Dance…

I debated posting this picture, but I went ahead…I know Gabby won't hate me (that much) because it captures everything about the seconds before the Hora…fear, excitement, and, well, fear…

…but there's also a ton of fun being tossed around in chairs elevated by your friends and family…

The speeches were warm and heartfelt…

Yes, I realize the following photos are soft focused, but I really like them because they capture the mood of two people sharing a private moment…of love…

I'll end this post with this photo (but there's more in the slideshow) because this is how Gabby and Adam spent the entire evening: gazing happily into each others' eyes…
