Italy Wedding Photo Shoot : Daniela+Paul

I call them Specials. People who are kind, humble, generous…and so insanely talented at what they do. Anton Lorimer is a Special. Perhaps, if I was being honest, he's like the Grand Supreme of the Specials (oooh, did I just reveal I watch Toddlers&Tiaras?!). We've worked together the past three years to produce the documentary style videos on my website, and I recently had the pleasure to work with him again in Tuscany.

JD and I were lucky enough to stay with Anton and his wife Abby while we worked and I can't say enough good things about them. The trip was made even better after I put out on Twitter and Facebook that I was in need of a couple to model for a shoot…Daniela and Paul joined us for the photo session all the way from Frankfurt, Germany.

That day in San Gimignano was one of my all time favorites. Like, in my life. I opened the windows to our room in the morning and stared at the Tuscan hills, ate a panini for breakfast, brainstormed with Anton, and photographed a couple in love. In Italy. In that moment, I was overwhelmed. With gratitude.

Here's a peek of the wedding photo shoot in Italy…

A HUGE thank you goes to German wedding dress designer, Elvira Kirsch for loaning Daniela a dress for the shoot. It was perfect and a true honor to work with…

The beauty of San Gimignano is you can walk anywhere and everywhere and a photo is begging to be taken…

In the city center, we discovered the world champ Gelateria. No, really, the world champ. Yes, there was a line out the door for this gelato…it must have been so good people hardly noticed Daniela and Paul! 😉

Now, Daniela emailed me and said she was camera shy and unphotogenic. Ummm, riiiiight.
Daniela…you're so feroche I can't even stand it…

I looked into hiring a makeup and hair artist, but it was going to cost me 2,500…EURO. And then I was all, No grazie!
I did Dani's hair and makeup…and made this hairpiece there in Italy. That right there is what you'd call, GHETTO FAB!

Gorge…

I especially love Dani and Paul because they think I'm funny…

Special thanks again to Elvira Kirsch for the wedding gown and Daniela and Paul for being so generous with their time.

Happy Tuesday!
