Her life was coming apart at the seams. Jenney's mother was diagnosed with cancer and she moved back home to Washington DC from Utah to be closer to her family. In her darkest moments, she cried but her mother promised Jenney she'd be fine, she'd pull through. And she did. It was during her mom's long road to recovery when Jenney met Chuck who, from day one, was her soul mate.
Jenney and Chuck look back at this experience as a mixed blessing–a test of faith that drew their families closer and acted as the impetus of their first meeting. Every battle they've faced, they've done so together. In was during these moments when they realized they'd never be alone again…each challenge, setback, and victory was theirs. Collectively.
On a warm and overcast day in Miami, Jenney and Chuck invited their closest family and friends to celebrate their destination wedding, a day full of love, champagne, and promises. South Beach holds a special place in their hearts as it marks the moment they fell head-over-heels for each other, so they wanted to share their memories with their loved ones. The wedding day was remarkable in every way, a perfect depiction of their unbreakable union.
Jenney and Chuck, I'm pretty sure we have a deal to reunite in Miami every May 10th to re-celebrate such a fun day, right?! Thank you for inviting us warmly into your circle of care and devotion…everything from the massages you surprised us with to the long afternoons on the beach, we owe you.
