Megan and Brent : Wedding

They were both late for the sixth grade that crisp fall morning. They missed the bus, so—to make the best of the situation—Brent hung in a nearby tree. With his arms lifted above his head, he asked Megan, So, do you wanna be my girlfriend? Upon seeing the cute boy with sunset-colored eyes hanging in the tree, she was a immediately smitten and simply said, Yes.

Megan moved from California during high school, but a portion of her heart remained in San Juan Capistrano with Brent. After graduation, she returned to Orange County and picked up where her and Brent left off. Last Saturday, the elementary school sweethearts said I DO under the warmth and glow of the San Juan Capistrano sun.

Both families, after years of interaction and communication, appeared to have already had their hearts entwined. Everyone worked together as a unit in preparation for the ceremony and reception—laughing and hugging along the way—and excitement pulsed through the air at the Franciscan Gardens. All the while, Megan and Brent sat separately in their bridal suites waiting for their wedding to commence and begin the rest their lives as husband and wife.

Megan and Brent, from the minute I arrived, I knew it was going to be a phenomenal wedding. Immediately, I was greeted with a bear hug from your mom (whom I had never met), and treated like part of the family. What an awesome way to start a day! 😉 I had SO much fun and I cannot thank you enough for your warmth and hospitality…I think the world of you both and I was incredibly honored to be a part of your special day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Much Love and Appreciation…J*

Megan and Brent has a Mexican theme to their wedding, so chili peppers were incorporated to the decor. Floral designs compliments of Designs by Tricia.

I specifically blogged this picture because it's so important for a bride to look out to her guests and soak up the moment…and I'm sure Megan's glad she did! 🙂

Because Megan and Brent allocated extra time for their pictures (how amazing are they?!?!), we were able to roam the streets of San Juan Capistrano!

JD captured this picture…I especially like it because it looks old and western-ish…Megan and Brent LOVE country western, so I hope they like it too! 🙂
