San Juan Capistrano Engagement : Jenna+Jim

There seems to be pattern within their relationship, a sacrifice so real Jim wouldn't have believed it if you told him the extent a few years ago. It started one day when his beloved LA Kings were slated to play…and he had tickets for the hockey game. Jim's friend invited him to a party that same day and while Jim teetered on attending, he declined once he discovered the party was in Orange County. Nope, no. Jim wasn't a fan of the OC and preferred to stay away from the soccer moms in their minivans.

A few minutes later, his friend texted a picture of Jenna to Jim…and Jim relented.

He left the LA Kings game and made his way down the freeway to meet this beguiling girl on his cell phone screen. When they were introduced at the party, Jenna's smile put him at ease and the rest is history. But, wait, where's the so-called pattern?

A few years after they met, Jenna dragged Jim to shop for outfits for their engagement session. Nope, no. Jim was definitely not going to miss game two of the Stanley Cup finals or miss a Kings victory. All it took was Jenna asking nicely (and perhaps batting of her eyelashes) for Jim to find himself walking through the mall with his fiancé instead of being in front of the television. That's a pattern of love.

We met for their engagement session in San Juan Capistrano on a stunning summer day…the light was gorgeous and we had SO much fun. Love them.

When I first met Jenna, we instantly connected. She's a gem and I've loved getting to know her. What I didn't expect, however, was how much of a change she'd spark in my life. Jenna works for Nekter and sent me a gift card after she booked me for her wedding. I decided to do a seven-day cleanse (and blogged about it here) and have since incorporated juicing and vegetable smoothies into my daily meal plan. More than anything, I'm thankful she's my client and staunchest health advocate!

Many thanks to Nicole Deanne for doing such a lovely job with Jenna's hair and makeup…

I'll end this session on this happy note…this photo is perfectly them: fun, sweet, and in love.

Happy Tuesday!
