Shooting Star : Posing

The first time I walked into Olive Garden, I felt like I arrived in Beverly Hills, conveniently located in Tuscany. I mean, there were cloth napkins. Cloth! It was like wiping my hands on my clothes, but BETTER. I was invited to celebrate a friend's birthday at this fancy place, so I made sure to wear my Sunday best. I'd never experienced such delicacies like bread sticks (bread in the shape of…wait for it…sticks!) and never-ending bowls of pasta. Be still my enlarged and highly-processed heart…

Last night JD and I went to Olive Garden for dinner and–I'm being serious–I got teary-eyed. I blamed the alfredo dipping sauce, but we both knew it wasn't that. It was the breadsticks. And the realization the first time I ate at Olive Garden, I savored every minute because I never thought I'd return. Ever.

Thankfully, I'm still trying to savor every moment. One alfredo dip at a time.

Yes, that was pretty random, but so is my life. Which leads me to another installment of Shooting Star (whoa, that was not a smooth transition…good thing I'm not a Broadway choreographer…although I'm way good at Jazz Hands!).

This week's installment of Shooting Star will cover:
*Posing, specifically How to Move Into a Pose.
*How I pose full-figured clients.
*Shooting, even if it doesn't look right.
*Directing a pose without sounding rude.
*Keeping a pose from going stiff.

Happy Tuesday!
