Success is a Foregone Conclusion

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin Crosby of The Giving Keys. We collaborated on a project, but by the end of the day, I felt like I walked away with a new friend. We spoke about what it meant to be passionate about what you do, how to make changes in the world, and how–even if you feel small–big ideas come to life.

I've been grappling with these questions and though it's easy to feel overwhelmed, it's important to take solace in the small efforts of creation and change. After all, consecutively accomplishing small things creates big results. As a creative (especially a self-employed creative), it's easy to feel alone…frustrated…uninspired. However, it's the small steps that will lead to the destination of our dreams.

As our conversation ended, we roamed the streets of Los Angeles and I snapped a photo of Caitlin. To remind me to take risks, hustle, and believe success is a foregone conclusion.
