Terranea Resort Wedding : Meredith+Brian

The sky was blue, the breeze swirled into the suite, and her dress shined from a corner in the room. Everything was perfect–beyond perfect–but it wasn't exactly complete. Meredith lowered her head and deeply cried, her quiet sobs stifled by the soft words from her friends giving hugs and rubbing her back. She missed her mom. Meredith lost her mother to breast cancer a few months ago, but she so badly wanted her mom there, in that moment.

A few minutes later, Meredith regained her composure, listed all the reasons to be happy, and reminded herself that her mother loved her future son-in-law just as much as she did. Brian was a slice of perfection and both women knew he'd make a perfect addition to the family.

Later that evening, toasts were given and guests were reminded of Meredith's mother's grace, beauty, gumption, and determination…and glasses were raised to Meredith being living proof of her legacy. Brian and Meredith danced the night away as husband and wife, knowing every friend and family member–both there in the room and there in spirit–felt the gravity of their love.

Meredith and Brian, you are the best. No, really, the bestest. I know that's not even a real word, but it's true. You literally glow from happiness and I can't adequately describe how much I loved being there on your wedding day. Thank you for being so kind, generous, and thoughtful…you made me fall more in love with what I do. Much Love and Appreciation… j*

The wedding day started at Terranea Resort and the day could only have been made prettier by this stunning Vera Wang gown. I mean, it's just…I mean…I don't even have the right words…

Meredith's classic taste paired well with a pair of J. Crew heels and a beautiful pair of borrowed pearl earrings…

A special (and very fabulous) thank you to David Friedman Melendez of Vera Wang, who came from the Beverly Hills store to help dress Meredith. When he heard of Meredith's mother's passing, he promised her she'd be fitted and dressed perfectly with his help…he couldn't dress her the way her mother might have, but he made her look stunning regardless…you can see him hiding just behind her dress! 😉

Meredith…I have no words…just….wow.

Here's the man of the hour…Brian waited patiently to see his bride before the wedding ceremony, although the air was filled with his nervous energy…

…one look at his bride and Brian knew it was going to be a great day…oh, and how I love when clients opt to see each other before the ceremony…we had plenty of time to walk around Terranea Resort for extra wedding photos…

To say the bride was happy would be an understatement…

…speaking of happiness, Meredith's bridesmaids were watching the First Look from a distance, and were happily on hand to get the bride to her wedding ceremony…

When Meredith walked through the church doors as his bride, he was beyond happy…I mean, just look at his reaction, he looked over to her friends with a look that says “I'm the luckiest guy in the world!”

The happiest moment of the day…

This little ring bearer was counting me down…apparently I was taking too much time with groomsmen photos! 😉

Before the wedding reception at Terranea, we roamed the beautiful property for a few more photos

Just look at this gorgeous light!

The First Dance…

Great speeches were given…

…but the reactions were better!

Meredith and Brian spent the rest of the evening dancing the night away, surrounded by the palpable love from friends and family…

Many thanks to the amazing team who made this wedding so perfect…
