Okay, so here’s the deal: The totally awesome crew at Thirst Relief hosts a charity mentorship program that occurs at WPPI (for my non-photography blog readers, this is the biggest photography convention) in Las Vegas. The mentorships are insane and probably the BEST way to get one-on-one contact with a photographer…it’s fabulous!

All the proceeds go directly to Thirst Relief where they’ll provide clean drinking water to the many people who don’t have it around the world. It’s an awesome program and I’m proud to announce that this year I’ve been asked to also be a mentor. Woo.to.the.Hoo!

Here’s the breakdown…
*This Saturday-Tuesday, February 9-12, 2008 Thirst Relief hosts an online auction where people can bid for a date with a mentor.
*If you’re the winning bidder, we’ll arrange a 90-minute meeting in Las Vegas. We can discuss anything you’d like (marketing, manual shooting, my undying love for Britney Spears), so the meeting will cater to your needs!
*The auctions end at different times, so please note when mine ends. And, please, I don’t want to get a random email insisting John Doe was willing to bid $1,000,000 in my name, but missed the deadline by five minutes! 😉
*When the auction begins on Saturday, I’ll announce a juicy surprise I have in store for the winner!
*In case anyone is wondering, I’ve made arrangements with JD in case I’m in last place or, worse, no one bids for me. Be on the lookout for a bidder with the screen name HotLipsHoney because JD…oops, I mean…this TOTALLY RANDOM BIDDER is going to get a totally fabulous mentorship with me!
