Hashtags are a #beast, don’t you agree, boo boo?

Hashtags can be used #anytime and #anywhere…like in this blog post. #sorrynotsorry

But for the sake of simplicity, let’s chat about three tips for using hashtags solely in Instagram Stories, shall we?

Don’t worry, this isn’t #shady…unlike tagging someone in stories and then hiding the tags. When you hide hashtags, you’re inserting yourself into the social conversation without throwing shade.

If you want to appear in a stories hashtag but don’t want to show the hashtag you’re using, all you have to do is list the hashtags, make them smaller, and then cover them with a GIF!

If you’re wanting to remain consistent across a series of stories, you can choose to keep the same 10 hashtags throughout, but you can also switch it up and use different hashtags for each story slide, ya feel me? #youdoyou

I’m not sure if there’s a limit to hashtags in a blog post, but I’m pretty sure I’ve almost reached it. #overkill
