6 Instagram Posts In Less Than 6 Min

Here’s how to create SIX Instagram posts in less than SIX minutes. Below is my step-by-step process.

(I’ve had two of hardest work weeks, so while creating content was the LAST thing I wanted to do, I knew it’s the best thing for my business.)

If you, like me, are spread thin, busier than a bee in spring, and refuse to make excuses, let’s GET STARTED.

Each of the following Instagram posts took less than six minutes to create:

Now let’s break them down one by one (so you can create your own version this week, no excuses!)

  1. Handwritten Quote – Shoot time (1 min), Post time (2 min)

My husband held a phone over my head. I wrote this quote using my daughter’s craft paper.

2. Testimonial post – Shoot time (1 min), Post time (3 min)

While at an event a few weeks ago, a videographer captured this video clip as I walked into the winter gala. He texted it to me. A week later, I received a DM from a student with her INCREDIBLE results, so I added the screenshot on top of the video. The caption was a direct shout out about The Consistent $10K.

3. Straight-to-Camera – Shoot time (4 min [2 min record/2 min add text]), Post time (1 min)

I set my phone on the bathroom counter while I did my hair. I shared a quote I saw on TikTok. Total reel length: 10 seconds.

4. Lifestyle video clip – Shoot time (1 min [6 sec clip/1 min add text]), Post time (3 min)

We went to the beach. My daughter removed her hair wrap and made a flag. I was able to capture about 6 seconds before she ran off to build her castle. I added one of my favorite quotes and explained the wish I have for my daughter.

5. Ask Me Anything – Shoot time (5 min [1 min to film, 4 min to edit]), Post time (1 min)

I simply sat in front of my camera for 30 seconds and recorded myself putting my hair in a bun. In Instagram Edits, I edited the video to 8 seconds to keep the visuals engaging. I added text for people to comment their questions for me. Boom, done.

6. How To – Shoot time (1 min to film, 10 min to edit), Post time (1 min to edit)

In reference to the Ask Me Anything post (right above ^^), I created a tutorial on how I reply with long answers to long questions. I explained how I use voice-to-text on Instagram to save time, have real conversations, for real connections.

(In full disclosure, it was the first time I created a video in this style so I wasn’t organized, but when I create this type of post again, it’ll take me just a few minutes because I learned a lot of lessons when it came to prepping for the edit, like having the screen shots ready instead of trying to do two things at once.)

So there you have it.

Six posts you can create in less than six minutes.
