Over the past few years, I've received emails from small business owners with various questions. While we may do different things, we share similar struggles as we build our careers. Plenty of entrepreneurs are interested in growing their businesses on a budget, so I've been asked for tips that apply to more than just photographers.
As I responded to these queries, I wanted to do/say/give more because email can be limiting in a way. I decided to put together a three-part video series for creative business owners on the Importance of Using Photos for Marketing. Over the next three days, I'll be posting a short videos outlining:
1. Why Using Images is Vital to Business Growth
2. Marketing and Building Your Business Using Images
3. How to Take Better Photos for Your Business
Now, someone could watch this and assume it's easy for me to make a sweeping statement because I'm a photographer, but I'm first and foremost an entrepreneur. The tools and strategies I use can be leveraged by any creative businessperson.
Today's video is about the WHY (I've seen way too many businesses not leverage photos as part of their social updates) and provide legit stats that prove sharing pictures is a game changer (hint: images on Facebook generate 53% more likes and 104% more comments than the average post).
I hope you tune in tomorrow for tips+tricks for marketing and branding your business with photos!
