We met online, after she sent a sweet email to explain how she found my website. Kirsten grew up in Chicago with two friends whose weddings I photographed (Emily's wedding and Jamie's wedding) and she inquired if I'd be interested in traveling to her home city for a winter wedding in the Windy City. She was kind, smart, and incredibly excited, so it was–of course–an honor to be her wedding photographer.
I met Robbie and Kirsten in person when they flew to Santa Monica for their engagement session and was smitten with all they are together. By the time I flew to Chicago for their wedding, I felt like we were old friends.
I was beyond excited to photograph their wedding at the Standard Club in Chicago, but to see it in print in The Knot Magazine is even more exciting!
Kirsten made a stunning bride and it helped she had impeccable taste. She assembled an incredible team of wedding creatives (and her amazing mother, Julie) to bring the day to life….
Kirsten and Robbie had the type of wedding I'd love to be a guest at…it was full of love, joy, and endless dancing. Overall, it was pretty much perfect.

Many thanks to this amazing team for bringing the wedding day together…
