If a dog is man's best friend, then a dog is a woman's soul mate.

Last April, JD surprised me with a puppy. When I arrived home from WPPI in Las Vegas, a little maltese sat in the front seat…and I melted. The lil guy just made my insides one big puddle and I knew I'd never be the same.

Polo is the light of my life. He's my office mate, jogging companion, and carpool buddy. I sing to him when I'm bored, kiss him far too much, and buy him bright t-shirts and studded collars. I'm quite pathetic, but I don't care! 🙂

Today is his birthday and I woke up so excited!! We went on an extra long run, went and bought him his favorite snacks, and bought him birthday goodies. JD and I are taking him to a couture doggy bakery in Newport tonight to buy him a cake and celebrate. Polo deserves it! 😉
