I was sweating profusely. Like, I couldn’t stop the buckets of salt water seeping from my skin.
Last Saturday I spoke at an Entrepreneur’s Conference.
As I was announced on stage, I literally wiped my forehead to realize a miniature puddle gathered in the palm of my hand.
My thoughts in that moment were:
- Ewww, gross
- Don’t trip walking on the stage
- Whatever you do, don’t dance and look like a fool
As soon as I crossed the stage, I began dancing (like a fool) and I just didn’t care. In all my moisture-ridden skin, I was ready to talk.
You see, I was there to chat about Instagram, how the latest algorithm affects our accounts, and how to effectively use Instagram for business.
When I finished my presentation, we opened the discussion for Q+A. And then a crazy thing happened…
I heard the same questions I’d been asked before. A lot of times before.
The following day, I spoke at different conference (cue another sweat fest!) and when Q+A rolled around, a crazy thing happened…
