It’s All About the Camera

A few days ago I met my parents for an early dinner. As usual, I carried my camera in my purse and when my mom offered to take a picture, I obliged. She not-so-secretly thinks I inherited my love for the arts from her and insists she'll become my third shooter one day. I told her where to stand, I adjusted the camera settings, and chose the focal point. She snapped a photo and after looking at her handiwork on the LCD screen on the back she said, You see, all you need is a nice camera and it's done for you!

Right, mom…riiiiiiight.
