“Where do I start? I feel overwhelmed, and have no idea how to do it.”

Social Curator user Amanda had tears in her eyes as she asked me this question.

Listen, I get it. You can list a million reasons why there are others who are more talented, qualified, or smarter than you but guess what? They're not you.

You may have tears in your eyes, anxiety in your gut, and feel like the Hot Mess Express, but guess what? 

Those feelings are surfacing because you are passionate about what you want to do, and what you want out of life.

You are not a hot mess. You are a dreamer. Now it’s time to DO.

It’s ok if you don't know where to start, but it’s not ok to give up on yourself. 

Just start. 

• Start where you are.
• Use what you have.
• Do what you can.

Just start. 

• Be better than your past self. 
• Be bolder than your excuses. 
• Be braver than your circumstance. 

Just start. 

• If you want to start a business, start today. 
• If you want to film your first Reel, film today.
• If you want to create a course, create today. 
• If you want to be one step closer to your dream, take one step forward… today. 

If you want to empower, educate, and/or entertain, your progress is not found in your dream, it’s found in the action you are willing to take. 

Perfection? Throw it out the window. It doesn’t serve you or your business. 

Comparison? Let. It. Go. That person or business that is living the dream you want didn’t get there overnight. They aren’t special (no matter what it looks like on social media). 

The assumptions that say others are more educated, privileged, or luckier than you are an excuse. They simply took action: messy, scrappy, imperfect action. 

The only thing stopping you is you. So…

Embrace not having all the answers.

Chase after failure, because that’s where you’ll find success.

Everything that you need to accomplish your dream is inside you.
