Kisses and Disses : Buttercups and Olive Oil

What HAPPENED to me? Like, when did I all of a sudden condone fashion faux paux and garment no-no's? I wear workout clothes all day. Everyday. They've even become my lounging clothes, which pretty much means I'll wear them to the grocery market, Office Depot, and the post office. I hope I can pass for the just-got-done-working-out-and-needed-to-run-a-quick errand look, but I'm not sure if I'm convincing. Maybe the makeup is a dead giveaway.

It's gotten to the point where I'll come home from the gym, shower, then put on ANOTHER SET OF WORKOUT CLOTHES. Soon, I'll be wearing sponge curlers, a bathrobe, and a cigarette dangling from my lower lip…in public. I think I need an intervention. Will someone call the fashion police on me? Please?

In a last ditch effort to assuage my fashion woes, here's another installment of Kisses and Disses

This weeks DISSES go to…
*Lululemon for making the most comfortable clothes in the world. I blame them for my lackluster wardrobe.
*Reese's Mini Buttercups. Just because they're mini, doesn't mean I can eat 5,826. At once.
*AT&T for creating the deadest dead zone IN THE WORLD in my house. If I could have negative amounts of bars, I'd have them in my living room. Uhh, doesn't AT&T know I want to follow Twitter from my couch?! (Caveat: I can't hate them all that much because my heart melts every time I see the Tom's Shoes/AT&T commercial…I mean, really? I could just swoon!)

This week's KISSES go to…
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or, as Rachel Ray calls it, EVOO). Please don't ask me why I'm in love with this cooking lubricant, I just am. Makes me feel healthy. And all chef-ish.
*OPI Nail Polish. This polish takes a licking and keeps on sticking…a little pricier than the others, but worth it. My newest obsession is “Mimosa for the Mr. and Mrs”, for a subtle and soft look.
*Dental Insurance. I'm so excited to be visiting a new dentist soon for a teeth cleaning. And, really, let's get something straight: Nothing is better than having someone else floss your teeth. Nothing.

Happy Wednesday!
