One Thing Before I Leave…

Well, well, well…looks like we find ourselves at the end of 2024, and I want to say one thing:

T H A N K – Y O U…

for being you. for reading this post. for staying connected. for your support. for your replies. for being on this journey together.

Every year, I receive a word that will embody my intention for the year.

In 2024, the word was INDEPENDENCE.

(Not as in ‘on my own’ but doing things ‘my own way’.)

Independence forced me to choose uncharted paths, go against the grain, and make decisions that make little sense to outsiders.

It was a year of learning, breaking, and resilience. Despite how painful it was, I’m thankful for who I became in the process.

Last week my 2025 word downloaded. It is FLOW.

(Not as in ‘go with the flow’ but to be the flow, to choose flow.)

In a casual conversation with my C.O.O., I said that my mantra for next year will be, “If it ain’t in FLOW, it’s a hell no.”

How this word will impact 2025 is to be determined, but I can already tell you:

  • I recently negotiated a contract to reflect that the requirements allow my travel dates to be in FLOW with my family.
  • I changed the date of an upcoming webinar to allow FLOW for the promotion.
  • I’m not writing weekly blog posts for the remainder of the year because I want to feel the FLOW of being fully present during the holidays.

I want the same for you. I hope you feel thankful for the people in your life who push, challenge, and support you.

Also, I hope you choose flow, however it fits in the pockets of your life. I hope it expands your vision, hope, and joy on the journey.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New Year,
