I backed my car out and shut the garage door at 4:44am. I silently pleaded that THAT would be a sign of good things to come.
(Listen, when the clock strikes 12:34pm and you feel lucky, or if you stop the microwave at :01 before it beeps and you feel like a gangster, YOU ARE MY PEOPLE)
I arrived to the gym and reflected on why I was on the hunt for good things to come.
It had been a hard week WEEKS month.
OKAY, FINE, 2026 HAS A FIRE UNDER MY BUM AND HAS A CAN OF GASOLINE IN HER LEFT HAND JUST WAITING TO MAKE LIFE MORE INTERESTING.
I’m doing the work. Focusing on my actions, releasing anxiety from my thoughts. Meditation, breathwork, coaching.
I’m basically feeling like a mix of Deepak and Tupac.
I will also admit, in full honesty, that there were moments when even the best advice couldn't help me from my analysis paralysis.
In those moments, I had to dig deeper for a bigger why.
Every time I wanted to stop out of fear, anxiety, or overwhelm, I immediately thought of my daughter and I began to take actions not just for myself, but for her, so one day she will be able to do the same.

Not an example of perfection, not an example of fearlessness.
- An example of being scared and doing it anyway.
- An example of what it looks like to get back up after being kicked down.
- An example of somebody who has the odds stacked against her and yet still finds a way to not just survive, but thrive.

I am inviting you to think of a thing or a person or a cause that allows you to dig deep when things are not going the way that you want or expect, because I’ve realized is that this is simply the Game of Entrepreneurship.

More things will go wrong than right.
You will walk through a graveyard of mistakes.
There will be more valleys than peaks.
There will be more rejection and failure than success.
But if we do not quit, we cannot lose.
And if we are NOT just doing it for ourselves, the stakes become higher, but the rewards become greater.
Here’s to the greatest rewards,

P.S. Speaking of sharpening my entrepreneur mindset, I had an AWESOME conversation with Coach Keren Eldad on my podcast…she’s world class at helping overachieving perfectionists get bigger results with less stress…LOVED it! Check it out >>HERE<<.
