Have you ever known exactly what to do… and still not done it?
Friend, this episode was inspired by a consulting call with an entrepreneur who had all the right answers. She knew the strategy. She knew the next steps. She knew what needed to happen.
But when I asked where she was getting stuck, she paused.
And then she said something that changed the entire conversation:
“I know what to do… I'm just struggling with doing it.”
Boom.
In that moment, I realized there are two types of challenges entrepreneurs face:
Category #1: I don't know what to do.
Category #2: I know what to do, but I’m not doing it.
And if we’re honest? Most of us spend far more time in Category #2 than we’d like to admit.
In this episode, I break down how I approach both situations and share the exact framework I use whenever I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of my next move.
If you’re in a season where you don’t know what to do, I explain why the answer isn’t finding the perfect strategy. Instead, it’s getting everything out of your head and onto paper. I walk through how to create a brain dump, organize your ideas into a rough order of operations, and identify the next action that will reveal the right questions to ask. Because often, clarity doesn't come from thinking. It comes from doing.
Then we shift into Category #2.
And this is where things get real.
Because sometimes the issue isn’t a lack of information. Sometimes it’s fear.
Fear disguised as perfectionism.
Fear disguised as procrastination.
Fear disguised as “just needing a little more time.”
If you've been waiting to feel confident before you take action, this episode is your reminder that confidence doesn't come first.
Action comes first. Confidence comes later.
Every difficult conversation you have, every uncomfortable decision you make, every promise you keep to yourself becomes evidence. Evidence that you can do hard things. Evidence that you can survive discomfort. Evidence that you can trust yourself.
Confidence isn't a personality trait reserved for lucky people.
Confidence is earned.
It's built through repetition.
It's developed through follow-through.
And the fastest way to build it is by taking the next step, even when you don't feel ready.
So whether you're staring at a blank page, avoiding a difficult conversation, sitting on a business idea, or waiting for the perfect moment to make a move, I want this episode to remind you:
You do not need confidence to begin.
You begin to create confidence.
Friend, the future version of you is waiting on the other side of one small action.
Let's get moving.
