Recently, my team and I were batching video content in my apartment complex, and we had clear views of the pool right outside the window…

And I’ll be honest: I was so jealous.

I thought, “I don’t want to be working! I want to be out by the pool right now!”

But then I reminded myself that the work we’re doing is going to get me to where I want to go. 

It's not my time to rest yet. That time will come, but it isn’t now.

I have always believed that my actions map my aspirations.

I can't have big dreams and act as if they’re just going to come to me without doing the work! 

So, wherever you are right now:

• In a cubicle during your 9-to-5 job…
• In your car waiting to pick up your kids…
• Working on your side hustle late at night…

Remember that we all want to be by the pool.

Being an entrepreneur means that you’re willing to do what others won’t.

• You’ll create while others complain.
• You’ll plan while others pity themselves.
• You’ll work while others wish.

But make no mistake: it ain’t for the faint of heart.

You must LOVE the *process* of growing, not just the perks of the blossom.
