The WORKSHOP : Holland

I can't believe that just about two weeks ago, JD and I were in Holland…celebrating my birthday, enjoying Easter, eating Dutch food, resisting the urge to wear wooden clogs, and teaching a photography workshop. It was one of those moments in life when I wanted to stop time and relish sight, sound, and taste I could wrap my senses around. I could blab for hours about how in love I am with The Netherlands, but my dearest friends don't want to watch a slideshow of photos or hear my blab about my trip…where is the love?! 😉

I was lucky enough to speak at the The European Wedding Congress hosted by Anouschka Rokebrand, and I follow up the conference with a personal photography workshop. I met the most amazing photographers from around Europe, all following their dreams and it was incredibly inspiring. The day started at the ever-gorogeous Kasteel De Hooge Vuursche, which was a perfect background for such a great adventure!

Just looking at this colorful bouquet made me incredibly happy…many thanks to Don Florito for the stunning blooms…

One of my favorite parts of my career is getting the chance to chat with other entrepreneurs and finding ways to grow our businesses…the laughter is a job perk!

As part of the workshop, we roamed around the castle with a beautiful bride and groom and discussed how to shoot in bright light and creating poses to reflect our brands…

Barbara and Yuri are an amazing couple who live in Amsterdam…and live on love…

Many thanks to the talented creative team who made this shoot come to life…
Gown: Unielle Couture
Hair and makeup: Marianne Roza for The Beautiful Bride Company
Jewellery: DRKS

At the end of the shoot, we wandered through the woods and enjoyed the Dutch sunlight…

The days were freezing leading up to the event, but the sun broke a bit when we started shooting…I felt so lucky!

I'll end on this note because it was the last frame from this shoot…the day, the trip, and the people I met made for the sweetest memories and the fondest feelings.
