I’ve seen a meme floating around social media that says, “I love how being an adult is just saying, ‘After this week, things will slow down a bit again’ until you die.”
*If that ain’t the TRUTH!*
I want to acknowledge this mantra, because I feel like there’s also some truth to it when it comes to running a business, too.
It seems as though many people have a misconception that there’s this magical time in business ownership where *BAM*, all of a sudden, business takes off and money is just pouring in with little-to-no work requirement.
While that might seem desirable, and although it’s possible, this scenario would only work to sustain a business.
*And that ain’t the life for me!*
I’m growth-oriented. I’m always looking for more. So, when I get asked how I’ve built a successful business, the answer is easy: by working HARD.
Here’s the truth:
>>I have never been more successful in my life than I am right now. But, I have never worked harder in my life than I do right now.<<
Now, I’m not proposing that anyone should work 14-hour days, although that is sometimes my reality.
I’m saying that reaching the goal of doubling your business year after year requires an expedited, high-level type of growth which requires good ol’ fashioned hard work.
Yes, you’re working smarter as time goes on, but you’re doing a lot more smarter things in the same amount (sometimes more) time.
>>Your actions map your aspirations.<<
So what are my life hacks to double my business by working smarter AND harder?
- Set a schedule
- Stick to the schedule
- Don’t mess with the schedule
- Hit every single deadline
If you’re looking to grow your business without having to work for it, you’ll have to look elsewhere, because you won’t find that here, boo boo! *Can you tell I’m wearing my big hoop, big attitude earrings today?!*
What I CAN give you though, is a little freebie that will help you remain productive while you’re hustlin’. It’s my Productivity Planner, and you can find it >>HERE<<!
If you’re looking to grow your business, you need to use everything you have right now to get you where you want to go. Plain and simple.
>>Life may be chaotic, business may be hard work, and I may get tired, but I will remain undaunted.<<
That’s your new mantra, Buttercup. Say it all day, every day, and twice on Sundays.
