A few weeks ago, I got this wild urge to paint. My bedroom. Sometime around midnight. I rallied JD and after a quick stop at Home Depot, we were painting the walls dandelion yellow. Although if you were to ask me, it's more like yoke yellow, which is slightly bothersome seeing how I don't like eggs. So then I gave up painting and started organizing my closet. Or maybe I simply read in my closet while JD painted, but let's keep that between us.

We have so much going on this time of year, but we're working hard to strike a balance of work and personal life. Even if that means walking the lumber aisles in sweats and oversized t-shirts late at night. I snapped a few photos so I wouldn't forget the simplicity of life I'm enjoying. And the fact that I didn't have to paint.

In work related news, more than a few people have asked what, specifically, I'll be teaching in the creativeLIVE course. The event takes place in 14 days (hold on…I'm having a panic attack….okay, I've recovered…) and will be hosted online for FREE from August 25-29.
