If we had the pleasure of hanging out on the web this weekend for creativeLIVE, you'll know what happened the minute I got home and prepared to submit a styled wedding shoot for a web submission on a wedding blog: I GOT BUSY. Like a bee. Based on what I taught in the course, I narrowed my selection to around 125 images, I edited, resized the images, renamed them (JasmineStar_cL_001), placed them in a folder with my name, and uploaded them for consideration. Yes, I just reviewed the process…and, yes, I totally own being a nerd.

Now it's time to keep our fingers crossed. Yes, ours. You were just as much as part of the process, so the shoot belongs to a little piece of us all.

I'll keep you posted as things progress and if we get it featured, I'll post a full entry with more wedding photos, but for now, here's a sneak peek of the behind-the-scenes action. Many thanks to JD for these photos and being everything to me…and then some more.

Words can't express how much I ADORE this girl…Celeste Olds produced my course and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She's amazing and I'm honored to call her a friend and colleague. Seriously.

This is the face of someone who's panicked. Like, THERE'S NO TURNING BACK NOW SO KEEP YOUR ISH TOGETHER panicked. But when the cameras rolled and broadcasted live, there was nothing I could do, but simply talk, sweat, and make Nintendo jokes. Oh, yeah…I went there.

For those who reminded me to take certain photos, I love you. Here's a big smooch your way: MWAH!

The models were amazing…more details coming soon, but–really–they made the afternoon truly enjoyable.

Here's a pulled back shot of the studio. There were moments when I wanted to say And this is where the magic happens like rappers on MTV's Cribs, but I didn't just didn't have the swag. Or the garage full of cars.
