My mother will likely kill me for saying this online, but she keeps our family photos in a plastic bin. The type you normally keep discarded Christmas ornaments or holiday lawn decor? Yeah, THAT plastic bin. There's piles of memories and though she's tried throughout the years to get organized, it's all just so overwhelming.

I think this is in part because there's just so many. She has literally hundreds of vacation photos she doesn't know what to do with, so now that I'm grown up and on my own, I decided to do things differently. Now when I go on vacation, I'm strategic with the photos I take, so that I'm not overwhelmed when I return home.
