Finding the Best First-Look Location
There've been moments I’ve held my breath and hoped for a miracle arriving to a location, only to discover there’s not a lot to work with. Other times, I’ve let out a sigh of relief, knowing what’s in front of me is a workable space to get creative. Finding a location for a First Look can be a daunting prospect. It’s in this moment the bride and groom see each other for the first time, and you need the location to work photographically for you but also hold sentiment for the two of them. I look at every wedding day environment as a blank slate, weighing factors such as Location, Light, Accommodations, and Aesthetic Appeal. In this video, I'll explain what goes into finding that perfect location, all while considering a bride's requests, if applicable.
