Shooting Stars

Last night, after the official Welcome Party, JD and I went down to the beach–complete with its full moon and white sand–and we sprawled out on two lounge chairs. We spoke about the day, speculated about the future, and watched for shooting stars. A Jamaican band played in the distance and we stared at the Floridian sky. I'm sure there are moments in life you don't forget…last night was one of them.

The wedding celebrations thus far have been amazing and the everyone has been even better than we could have imagined. Jen and Brad invited us to the Welcome Dinner, so JD and I brought along our cameras to document candid moments throughout the night. What I didn't expect was to meet a group of fabulous girls who read my blog and who were sweeter than a pina colada. When someone asked to take a picture, I slipped away, but the girls invited me back into the shot because, apparently, I was one of them. LOVE IT!

Here's a shot JD captured of the group as well….

We're off the shoot the wedding today and I'm nervous (pre-game jitters), excited, and stoked to be a part of such a wonderful group!
