Tips for Working with a Second Shooter at a Wedding

A few days ago, I slipped on our staircase and fell down a flight of stairs. I'm notoriously clumsy (except when I'm on the dance floor…then I'm smooth as silk and often mistaken for Beyonce), but this fall was the worst. JD darted from the couch and helped lay me on the floor, asking if I broke a rib. He brought me ice, I cried, and I somehow managed to sit up.

Looking back I can laugh at my misfortune, but what doesn't slip from my sight is how much JD helps me, both personally and professionally. We've developed a pattern that makes us flow effortlessly at home…and at weddings.

Today I'm blogging a video with three tips on how to work with a second shooter, regardless if you work with someone who lifts you off a staircase or not.

I hope this offers insight into how we work together and if you're interested in learning more about the Second Shooter Agreement, you can find it HERE. Special thanks to Ryan at Cloudless Weddings for producing this video!
