As a kid I couldn’t play suspenseful games. And by suspenseful I mean, games like Hide-n-Seek.
Anything that required me to keep quiet caused my nerves to explode.
Once, when I was eight years old, I got so nervous for David Guzman to finally count to the obligatory number 30 while us neighborhood kids could hide, I peed behind a bush from sheer anxiety.
[Not my proudest moment.]
But this leads me to share that next week I’m announcing a new and exciting project I’ve been working on.
And I feel like my nerves are going to explode (but, no, I won’t be peeing behind a bush any time soon).
I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on, especially because I believe it’ll help business owners save time, create a strategic plan of action for social media, and grow their business along the way.
Anytime I create and share something new, I struggle with those nagging voices of Fear and Doubt (wasn’t that the names of Cinderella’s wicked step-sisters?), and I question if it was something I was really supposed to do.
And while I can list all the reasons it won’t work, I choose to—instead—focus on the reasons it will.
Together we will be able to do great things as we follow our passion and build a life we love.
