Staying Positive & Energetic As A Business Owner

Let me be real with you, boo…

While I may seem like a ray of sunshine on social media *caffeinated to the high heavens,* some days I struggle.

  • Some days are dark.
  • Some days feel heavy.
  • Some days seem hard.

There’s no way around it. That’s just how it goes as a business owner, right?

WRONG.

I’ll admit, it is possible to take the good days with the bad. *Been there, done that.*

But I didn’t want the possibility of having a bad day looming over my shoulder. I wanted to avoid it.

>>My epiphany occurred when I realized that the days that felt heavy and hard were due to the fact that I didn’t have a clear vision for the future.<<

By having a vision, I became unafraid of the hard work that comes with it, because I knew it was getting me one step closer to my desired outcome.

When you can see what you’re working towards, the hard work becomes rewarding, not depleting.

Having a vision is so important. Having something to work towards is key to staying positive and energized.

>>If you don’t know where you’re going, you will always miss a target that you can’t see.<<

So what can you do RIGHT NOW to create a vision for your future?

Have a whiteboard session:

  • Grab a whiteboard (or several pieces of paper) and something to write with!
  • Then, have a massive brainstorming session.
  • Write down any and all ideas you have related to your business.
  • Keep your whiteboard somewhere you can see it so you stay in alignment with your vision.

Whenever I have a whiteboard session, I feel liberated and recharged to keep on, keepin’ on.

If you struggle with the dark, heavy moments of running a business, I urge you to give yourself the ability to dream big.

What do you want to accomplish in your business in 1 year/3 years/5 years..and what can you do NOW to help you get there?

You have a decision to make:

>>You can drown in the darkness or you can cast a brighter vision.<<

The choice is yours, Buttercup. What will you decide?
