Year in Review : 2012

One of the things I love about weddings is the sheer perfection of the day. Every moment is orchestrated to reflect the time and hard work the bride and her creative team poured into the special day. And it's my job to document it. My job and my appearance, however, sometimes collide during the pressure of the day. And JD is there to capture every moment of my uber coolness…and I'm there to capture his.

I think that's called love.

Over the course of the year, we capture behind-the-scene moments of us at work. These moments? Makes us feel fortunate to do what we love…in spite of us looking like a hot mess. Every year I look forward to this post because it gives a sneak peek into our lives doing what we adore.

It it just me or does JD look like he walked out of 1958?

Don't mind me…just looking at the bride!

JD jokes and says I have a mean evil eye…didn't believe him until I saw this photo…

His OCD is one of his biggest assets…

Forgive me Father for thinking he's handsome…in church.

Pictures? What pictures?! LET'S JUST SPEND THE DAY LAUGHING.

They're laughing with me, not at me. Kinda.

You're not afraid of dragons…you're not afraid of dragons…you're not afraid of dragons…

NO KISSING ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!!!

Living my lifelong fantasy of being the flower girl who gets to hold the bride's dress.

I love getting hit on by groomsmen…

Don't worry about me…just leisurely walking past as you adjust exposure…

Taking the aisle seriously…

You know that moment when a family portrait runs the risk of becoming a nuclear meltdown? JD is the neutralizer…he's like a walking cloud of glitter, cotton candy, and a pair of Crocs.

JD hates this photo, but I think the similarities are uncanny.

So this one time, I was a backup dancer for Vanilla Ice…STOP, COLLABORATE AND LIS'EN

Working on my comedy routine…based on their reactions, I need to change my delivery

Momentarily distracted…

Evil Eye, part two.

Here JD noticed top stitching that had come undone and couldn't shoot until he fixed it…he also organizes our fridge so all the labels face outward. And here I consider it a good day if I get out of the house with matching shoes.
