What if I told you that there was a way to shift your perspective and alter your mindset without having to unroll a yoga mat?
That’s right, my friend. In the amount of time that it takes to do a sun salutation, you could change your entire outlook on a situation.
Let’s call it the less-than-one-minute meditation. *Better yet, think of it as the two sentence game-changer.*
Repeat after me:
>>“I refuse to let my circumstances dictate my outlook. My outlook will dictate my circumstances.”<<
Say it out loud a few times, and by the time the clock ticks to the next minute, your day will be changed for the better.
Skeptics may argue that nothing has changed about the circumstances, and they may be right. However, saying the quoted phrase above and believing it to your inner core DOES change your perspective and approach, which makes all the difference.
>>One simple shift in perspective is all it takes to change your outlook.<<
*Plus, it’s easier than the downward dog pose, and there’s no yoga mat necessary.*
- Look at your circumstances as a blessing, not an inconvenience.
- Instead of saying “I HAVE to do this today,” say “I GET to do this today.”
- Focus on the overall journey rather than stressing about the present.
Say it again so it’s etched into your memory forever:
>>“I refuse to let my circumstances dictate my outlook. My outlook will dictate my circumstances.”<<
A few seconds. That’s all it takes to change your way of thinking.
And hey, if you still want to incorporate a few yoga poses into this meditative session, be my guest. *Fellow yoga junkie over here!*
Friend, apply this to your everyday life and–bam!– you’re golden. Promise.
