Can I let you in on a little secret about generating more income for your business?

You’ll think I sound completely bananas, but I promise that it works!  

Here it is:

>>The secret to making more money is to give away something for FREE.<<

*I know, I know. Crazy, right?!*

In case you didn’t guess it already, I’m talking about a freebie.

>>A freebie, by definition, is exactly as it sounds: a resource that you give away for free in exchange for someone’s email address.<<

That, my friend, is how you grow an email list, which has the possibility of putting more money in your pocket.

In fact, a study done by John Valenty found that:

>>1 email list subscriber = between $0.25-$1.00 per MONTH in income generation<<

People are happy to subscribe to an email list when they can see the value they’d receive, and a freebie is the best way to showcase that.

A freebie may be free, but it actually gives you the opportunity to make money! *Cha-chiiiiing!*

>>By giving someone something that they WANT, you will be the first person that comes to mind when they NEED something that you provide.<<

So how can you tell that a freebie is something that your audience wants?

One word: TEST.

By testing out several ideas, you’ll have a better grasp on what your current audience is looking for, which in turn will help you figure out how to gain more subscribers.

Here are 3 steps to test content to determine what people want to learn from you:

1. Think of 4-5 topics your audience might be interested in

2. Turn them into 4-5 Facebook and Instagram posts

3. Of those posts, evaluate which ones got the most engagement, likes, and questions

And remember this:

>>If at first you don’t succeed, test, test, and test some more!<<
